The turnover of small and medium-sized businesses in the Tomsk region grew by 7%

The turnover of small and medium-sized businesses in the Tomsk region grew by 7% and amounted to 420 billion rubles in 2019.

In the Tomsk region, 42,128 small and medium-sized enterprises are registered. This is more than 80% of all economic entities. There are 39 SMEs per thousand people in the Tomsk region. According to this indicator, our region ranks second in the Siberian Federal District. In the SME field, 26.3% of all employees (133.9 thousand people) are employed.

In 2019, “Moi Biznes” Center was opened in Tomsk, where representatives of the business support infrastructure work. Stands for territorial departments of federal bodies (Federal Tax Service, Federal Agency for State Registration and others) will be provided there.

In 2019, an agreement on cooperation was signed with JSC “Rossijskij eksportnyj centr”, which helped 30 SMEs to start export.

“In the near future, we will launch a digital service, which will select the best support option for a particular enterprise. Each measure will have its own rating and reviews. It will be possible to get advice and support without visiting the offices of the development institution. In the future it will completely be in digital form,” Andrey Antonov said.
