THBC built a pilot apart-hotel in SEZ Tomsk

Tomsk House-Building Company has built and prepares for commissioning a building for its SEZ Tomsk resident. This project will become a foundation for a new rental market supply – apart-hotels.
According to Alexander Shpeter, CEO at JSC THBC, a R&D center of a SEZ Tomsk resident Stroytechinnovations (the company develops new technologies for construction of reinforced concrete buildings) is officially due to be commissioned. Besides this, the project solved the issue of house-building system for the multi-purposes house building: public and office buildings as well as apart-hotels that are popular in the sphere of rental housing meant for long-term rented accommodation. The building is due to be commissioned in the coming weeks.
"The size of the building far exceeds the needs of THBC and our subsidiary (a resident of the technical and innovative zone), even with a laboratory instrumented with state-of-art high-precision measuring and test equipment. That is why when designing the project we set a goal to establish a house-building system which would allow building apart-hotels, that is rental accomodation", Alexander Shpeter told.
The project use framing structure. The hotel-type layout allows using the building for offices and laboratories. The building will be commissioned without internal partitions: floor space and room layout will be determined during building operation, the project will stay mobile and easily replanned – partitions will be dismountable. Besides this, the building has a local individual heating system and its own gas boiler house.

LLC Stroytechinnovations THBC was granted a status of SEZ resident in 2010. In October, 2013, THBC started the construction of the corporate R&D center with total floor space of 5 thousand square meters at the Southern Site of SEZ Tomsk. According to preliminary estimates, implementation of new technologies and projects at the THBC group will bring over 1 billion rubles in 2013-2016.
