The National Standard of Industrial parks is approved

The National Standard of Industrial parks of Russian Federation (GOST P-56301-2014 «Industrial parks. Requirements») for voluntary application is approved by Federal Agency on Technical regulating and Metrology. The National Standard is elaborated by the initiative of Ministry of Industry and Trade and shall be enforced for the first time from September 1, 2015.

The introduction of the National Standard aimed at establishing a common understanding of the Institute of Industrial parks, the formation of the general requirements to the infrastructure and engineering services, definitions of basic minimum services for residents of the Industrial Park management company.

The Standard is addressed to initiators of Industrial parks, management companies and residents of Industrial parks. Fixed requirements of the Standard are recommended to use:

- for design new and improvement of existing Industrial parks;

- for evaluation of Industrial parks by investors, potential residents and other stakeholders;

- for certification of Industrial parks.

The Standard project was developed by the all-Russian research Institute of certification in cooperation with experts «Key Partner» company and the Russian Association of Industrial parks. Public discussion of the project was held from 25 July to 25 September 2014.

The basis for development of Industrial parks are the state programs which developed in 2014 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade «Development of Industry and increasing its competitiveness» and by the Ministry of economic development «Economic development and innovation economy».

The programs include the increasing of Industrial parks in the country from 45 in 2014 to 127
in 2020.
