Tomsk Avia to renew its fleet

OOO Air Company Tomsk Avia is going to spend 745m rubles on three new Bombardier CRJ-200 airplanes and re-equipment of its fleet to comply with new federal aviation regulations, the company's press service reported to Interfax. "In February 2012, we are going to buy the first CRJ-200; and the plan is to buy three such airplanes in total. The cost of the three aircrafts is 650m rubles. We will spend 95m rubles more to equip the existing air fleet with new safety systems," a company representative said. The new aircrafts will be used for the existing routes from Tomsk to Strezhevoy, Surgut, and Nizhnevartovsk, and new routes to Abakan and Irkutsk.
