Young Siberian atomic scientists are invited to Tomsk
Registration for the 5th Young Siberian Atomic Scientists Conference School closes on September 30. The conference will take place in Tomsk on October 22-24, 2014.
The event may be good for undergraduates, young scientists and specialists dealing with research studies and high school students. They will have an opportunity to talk to scientists, experts, top managers of the leading industry companies and obtain an unbiased review of their research.
This year for the first time it is planned to organize an ATOM SLAM scientific talk based on the popular ScienceSlam movement. Also unlike the previous years the conference will give more focus to commercialization of the atomic energy designs. Representatives of the small and medium business will discuss these issues with experts at the round table "Atomic Industry Technology Transfer".

The first conference of the young Siberian atomic scientists was held in 2010. It is organized by Tomsk Region Administration, State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, Tomsk Polytechnic University and Seversk Technological Institute, Atomic Energy Information Center and non-commercial partnership Sibatomkadry and Tomsk Atomic Energy Center.
