A decade of financial literacy started in Tomsk
Activities under the decade will take place in Tomsk and will include competitions and cognitive programs for children, business games and master-classes for schoolchildren and students, workshops for teachers and labor teams, as well as free consultations for people.
During the decade the competitions of creative writing will take place "Me, Finances, and World", and of art pieces "Country of Finances", a meeting of the youth "Club of Young Financiers", and a competition of the best video on financial literacy will be held.
Together with journalist faculty of Tomsk State University a "School of Financial Journalistic" will be organized for students and working journalists, an exhibition "Economy of Soviet Russia in Slogans" will be opened in TC "Emerald City", where a quiz with awards and gifts under the "Your Personal Finances" Project will be held.
According to Mikhail Sergeichik, Project Supervisor, III Regional award "Financial Prestige - 2014" was tarted under the decade for financial companies of the region. Financial experts from Moscow, teachers from Moscow schools and institutes, workers of RF Central Bank, from RF Pension Fund, from Tax Services, representatives from different financial organizations were invited to participate in the decade.
