International jazz festival in Tomsk
Over 40 world-renown musicians will perform at Second international jazz festival that takes place in Tomsk June 4 - 7.
Legendary drummer Vladimir Tarasov (Lithuania), guitar player Russel Malone (USA), saxophone player and composer Rosario Giuliani (Italy), tenor saxophonist Anthony Ronnie (USA) and other guests from six different countries.
The main festival site will be the Grand concert hall of the State philharmony of Tomsk region, with large-scale Saturday оpen air party as finale, June 7, on the Governor quarter square.
International jazz festival Tomsk-2014 is a part of Year of Russian culture and anniversary celebrations, dedicated to 410 years of Tomsk, 210 years of Tomsk governorate and 70 years of the region with the support of Tomsk region administration office. It’s the second time the jazz festival is held in Tomsk, 2013 project was listed in top 20 jazz festivals of the planet.
