May 18-20, a delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore led by the Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the Russian Federation Simon Tensing de Cruz was on a visit to Tomsk.

They focused on the Tomsk Special Economic Zone. Cooperation with Singapore would pave the residents of the Tomsk SEZ the way to the international markets and encourage Singaporean companies to set up their manufacturing and research subsidiaries in the likes of the Tomsk SEZ. The Singaporeans also showed interest in the biotechnology research and the Medicine of the Future project.
