Success story. Closed joint-stock company «Siberian Agrarian Group»

Siberian Agrarian Group - is a leading agro-industrial corporation of the Siberian federal district, that holds strong positions among leading agro-industrial corporations of Russia. The company was established on the 14 ^th of December 2000.

The company is represented by a vertically-integrated agro-industrial holding with the total industrial-distributive cycle, where all the processes go by the endless chain - from the compound feed industry to manufacture of meat products and their realization.

The basic areas of activity are pig breeding, plant growing, processing and realization of meat.

«Siberian Agrarian Group» consists now of two meat-packing plants in Tomsk city, two commercial pig units – in Tomsk and Sverdlovsk regions, a feed factory, three agricultural factories, specialized in  the corn growing and beef stock farming, and there is also a corporate chain of stores of retail trade.

The enterprise is a power-house on the market of meat products producers of the Siberian federal district, and one of the largest companies in Tomsk and Tomsk region. «Siberian Agrarian Group» takes a second place in Russia by pig population and pork production.

The strategic target of the company is becoming of the closed joint-stock company «Siberian Agrarian Group» a leader among leading Russian agro-industrial companies, by building of the new animal production units and meat processing factory, reconstructions of the present production facilities and market share gain of all the areas of activity of the company.

Investment projects of the Siberian Agrarian Group:

The management of the «Siberian Agrarian Group» annually invests big sums of money in building and purchasing of the new factories, and in the reconstruction of the old production facilities. The company takes part in programs of development of the Agroindustrial complex (AIC), aimed at increase in output of the main types of animal production in the region, agriculture economic recovery and new work creation.

At present «Siberian Agrarian Group» within the framework of the project «Development of the Agroindustrial complex» realized a project of reconstruction of the pig complex «Tomskiy», that allowed to improve significantly the working conditions of the personnel and increase by 30 % the wage fund of the personnel of the company. At a time production of the pig complex is about 2200 tons per month, by the end of 2009 it is planned to produce up to 2400 tons per month. Improving the quality of genetic material and stock breeding we plan to change the quality of the output goods.

Currently, the priority area of activity of «Siberian Agrarian Group» is building of a big agro-industrial corporation in Sverdlovsk region, that includes a commercial pig unit, a meat-packing plant and crop-growing factories. Thus, a modern high-technology unit of meat production and processing, that will provide meat processing factories with the qualitative primary product, and consumers – with meat products on the various taste, is going to be set up in Sverdlovsk region. In August 2008 the pig complex «Uralskiy» opened a new production -   210 thousand bearings with the budgeted volume of 25 thousand tons of meat per year.

In June 2008 «Siberian Agrarian Group» entered into a contract of a long term lease with the following repurchase  of the largest meat producers of Kemerovo region – Kemerovskiy meat-processing plant. By 2009 the company is planning to increase its production capacity up to 20 tons per day thanks to a new meat-processing area. It will allow to increase the meat-processing production of the company by 1,5 times and establish the position of «Siberian Agrarian Group» on the territory of Siberian federal district.
