Laws and Regulations
The principal legal act regulating functioning of special economic zones in Russia is the Federal Law No.116 of July 22, 2005 (as amended on October 30, 2007) “On special economic zones in the Russian Federation”.
The laws and regulations of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development Federal Customs Service of the RF and other clarify the following issues:
- customs regulation
- assignment of the status of a resident of a SEZ of technical innovation type
- disposal of land lots in the SEZ territory
- powers of supervisory and managing authorities in the SEZ territory
The Tomsk SEZ residents are provided with the additional tax benefits by the Tomsk Oblast Laws.
