2bn rubles to be allocated from the federal budget of Russia in 2010 to build the infrastructure of the Northern Site of Tomsk SEZ

Background
As of May 2010 investments in the facilities of the innovative, transport, engineering, and social infrastructure of Tomsk Special Economic Zone totaled about 4.4bn rubles out of that 2.95bn allocated from the federal budget, 1.5bn rubles from the Oblast budget. As of today, the Zone is populated by 45 resident companies. The total amount of announced investments in the residents has exceeded 8.5bn rubles.
